MMAjunkie.com confirms Jason Miller will host Bully Beatdown for a third season.
While details about the third season are scarce, the source said Miller returns as the show’s host and that the pro-fighter-vs.-bully format will remain largely the same.
During each 30-minute episode of the show, which debuted in March 2009, a bully victim contacts Miller, a professional MMA fighter currently under contract to Strikeforce, for help. An MMA fighter then competes against the bully, who receives cash prizes (up to $10,000) for surviving a round of grappling and a round of kickboxing with the pro.
MTV has aired 16 “Bully Beatdown” episodes over two seasons, which ran from March to April and August to October of 2009.

The remaining four states with athletic commissions that have yet to pass a bill for regulation of MMA competition are New York, Connecticut, West Virginia and Vermont.
Just one week after Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle signed mixed martial arts regulation into law, the vice chair of the Alabama Boxing Commission, Casey Sears, told MMAWeekly.com that the Cotton State is ready to usher in its own sanctioning.
Alabama House Bill HB457 was recently voted out of the Travel and Tourism Committee. The bill, if signed into law, would give the Alabama commission, under a new name, authority over mixed martial arts in the state.
The bill, according to Sears, would make the following changes:
–Change the name from “Alabama Boxing Commission” to “Alabama Athletic Commission”
–Provide the state the authority to sanction and approve professional mixed martial arts in the state in the same fashion as professional boxing.
–Provide authority to the commission to approve any amateur sanctioning organization for mixed martial arts operating in the state.
–The bill will provide standards for promoters and safeguards for fighters.

Despite being stopped by Mirko Cro Cop at UFC 110 with a nasty cut, Perosh has been offered a four-fight contract.
Perhaps, the UFC has made the offer because Perosh took the fight on short notice at a higher weight class and against striking legend Cro Cop.
While Perosh was dominated through most of the fight, he had no quite in him. He took a devastating elbow, which split open his nose and head, producing a lot of blood. The doctor inspects the cuts and to the amazement of everyone, Perosh insists the fight continues.
That’s the warrior spirit that the UFC wants on its roster.
